Apple Crisp

Ingredients
- 6-8 apples peeled and sliced
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar divided
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Place sliced apples in a greased 7x10-inch baking dish. Mix water and vanilla together and sprinkle over apples. Combine cinnamon with 1/2 cup sugar and pour over apples.
- Mix flour, baking powder, 1-1/2 cups sugar and egg together until crumbly. Cover apples with the mixture and add a dash of cinnamon on top. Pour melted butter over the top.
- Bake for 50 minutes, or until browned to your liking. Serve warm with or without ice cream.
