GF Pea, Corn and Green Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 11 ounce can shoe peg corn drained
  • 15 ounce can LeSueur baby peas drained
  • 15 ounce can French style green beans drained
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper

Dressing:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon water

Notes

Put first 6 ingredients in bowl and set aside. Combine dressing ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat; cool. Pour mixture over salad and stir to mix. Chill overnight.

 

Barbeque Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 cup catsup

Notes

In skillet, brown meat; drain. In medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Add to skillet and cook 30 minutes. Serve on lightly toasted hamburger buns.
