Peanut Butter Sundae Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 T. oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. Peanut butter
  • 3/4 c. Brown sugar
  • 1-3/4 c. hot tap water

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In 9" pan, ungreased, sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Add milk, oil and vanilla. Mix with a fork. Stir in peanut butter.
  • Spread evenly. Sprinkle with 3/4 c. brown sugar.
  • Pour hot water over batter. Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping.
