September Checklist

Snack healthy. Stock up on snacks you can easily grab such as fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, yogurt or milk.

School routine. Getting enough sleep is critical for a child to be successful in school. Set a consistent bedtime and stick with it every night.

Laundry tip. Dry towels and heavier cottons separately from lighter-weight clothing. You’ll spend less time running the dryer for the lighter items, which saves energy. Source: energy.gov

Tip of the month. Make sure your refrigerator door seals are airtight for maximum energy efficiency. Test the seal by closing the door over a piece of paper (so that it’s half in and half out). If you can easily pull the paper out, your seal may need to be replaced or the latch may need to be adjusted.
