Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/3 cup whole milk

Topping

  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1/3 cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Combine first six ingredients and mix well. Put in a buttered 9X13-inch casserole dish.
  • Mix together topping ingredients and crumble on top of sweet potato mixture.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Note: Tastes like dessert rather than a vegetable side dish.
