Lemon Brownies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 t. Salt
  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 T. Lemon juice
  • Zest from 1/2 lemon
  • GLAZE
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 T. Lemon juice
  • Lemon zest

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine the flour, sugar and salt. Mix in softened butter.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, lemon juice and zest. Add to the flour mixture and mix well.
  • Pour into a greased 8x8-inch pan. Bake for 25 minutes. (You can double the recipe and bake in a 9x13-inch pan for 30 minutes).
  • Remove from oven and let cool.
  • Combine all glaze ingredients and spread over cooked brownies.
