Onion Pie

Ingredients
Pie filling
- 2 pounds onions sliced
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
Pie crust
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 6 tablespoons shortening
- 7/8 cup milk
Instructions
Filling
- Cook onions in shortening until brown. Cool.
- Beat egg.
- Stir sour cream and seasonings mix in with onions.
Pie crust
- Mix together ingredients and put in 10 inch pie pan, greased and floured.
- Add onion mixture.
- Bake at 450 oven for 30 minutes.
