Pat's Pasta Salad

Ingredients

Dressing:

  • 2 cups canola oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 package dry zesty Italian dressing mix

Salad:

  • 1-1/2 cups each of 4 or 5 varieties of pasta
  • chopped red onion
  • black olives sliced
  • 1 head broccoli broken into florets
  • 1 head cauliflower broken into florets
  • carrots shredded
  • grape tomatoes
  • green peppers chopped

Instructions

  • The night before, mix together dressing ingredients and store in refrigerator. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and cool. Add rest of ingredients to your taste and toss with dressing.
