Pat's Pasta Salad

Ingredients
Dressing:
- 2 cups canola oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 package dry zesty Italian dressing mix
Salad:
- 1-1/2 cups each of 4 or 5 varieties of pasta
- chopped red onion
- black olives sliced
- 1 head broccoli broken into florets
- 1 head cauliflower broken into florets
- carrots shredded
- grape tomatoes
- green peppers chopped
Instructions
- The night before, mix together dressing ingredients and store in refrigerator. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and cool. Add rest of ingredients to your taste and toss with dressing.
