Thelma Keller’s Gourmet Carrots
  1. Peel and slice carrots. Cook in salted water until done.
  2. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from skillet and crumble.
  3. Chop onion. Saute’ in butter until clear. Do not drain.
  4. Drain carrots.
  5. Add carrots, bacon and brown sugar to sautéed onion.
  6. Stir thoroughly to dissolve brown sugar.
