Butterscotch candy
Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons boiling water
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 stick of butter
1/4 cup white karo syrup
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a heavy sauce pan and boil until brittle when tested in cold water. Pour into a buttered cookie pan. Let cool for 20 minutes then score with a knife. When cold you can then break it into pieces. Wrap in small pieces of waxed paper.
