Easy Nut Crunch
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 1/3 cup white sugar
1 Tbs light Karo com syrup
3 Tbs water
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
Directions:
Melt butter in large sauce pan
Add sugar, Karo syrup, and water to melted butter
Cook very slowly, stirring occasionally, to hard crack (300 degrees)
Quickly add nuts to mixture and coat nuts.
Spread on un-greased cookie sheet to cool, then
Break in pieces to eat
