Memorial Hospital Association, Carthage, received a loan from the USDA Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant (REDLG) program thanks to help from Western Illinois Electrical Coop. (WIEC). The $840,000 pass-through loan will assist the hospital in implementing a software IT project. In addition, the hospital also received a $360,000 revolving loan through the cooperative.
“WIEC is proud to play a role in helping our community, and the hospital plays a vital role,” said Todd Grotts, WIEC general manager. “We are always looking for ways to show concern for our community which is one of the seven cooperative principles.”
