Wayne-White Counties Electric Cooperative (WWCEC) recently received a REDLG investment of $580,000 in the form of a loan. The co-op loaned the monies to Hamilton Memorial Hospital which provided a contribution of $145,000 to cover the entire project cost of $725,000. The funds are being used to replace the current roof covering of the medical surgery center, radiology and lab area.

The variety of services the hospital provides in Hamilton County are vital to area residents. Hamilton Memorial currently employs more than 200 people, with 70 of those jobs being housed in this project facility.
