Olinda’s Dishpan Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1-1/2 cups quick oats
  • 1-1/2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1-12 ounce package chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts Optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Mix together first 6 ingredients.
  • Sift together flour and baking soda.
  • Add to oil mixture and then add remaining 5 ingredients.
  • Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
