One thing is certain, those flaky crusts and fruit or cream fillings are a favorite of young and old alike.

Nantucket Cranberry Pie

Ingredients
- 2 cups raw cranberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup nuts chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup butter melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. almod extract
- 2 large eggs beaten
Instructions
- Heat oven to 325 F.
- Grease a 10-inch pie pan or an 8x8-inch baking dish.
- On the bottom, put cranberries, sugar and chopped nuts.
- Mix rest of ingredients and pour over top of cranberries.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until brown.
- Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
